My name is Reanne Yehia, a current Digital Film Student at SAE Institute In Liverpool, previous student at Liverpool Media academy and aspiring filmmaker.
“The only safe thing is to take a chance”, this quote by Mike Nicholls is one I’ve applied to life and has sparked my interest in the film industry. My passion for film alongside the world of visual arts began via my desire of wanting to have an impact on individuals through my work. For myself I find that films with messages and meaning deeply touch my soul especially when it’s based on real life issues therefore I want to do the same.
In November 2016, whilst applying for my college course I had discovered something amazing which to this day and onwards will play a huge part in my creative journey. My mother had revealed to me that my late grandfather was a successful director in the Middle East. My findings left me in awe as I want to do what he did without even knowing. Having the honour of continuing his dreams makes me even more determined to reach my filmmaking goals and with every project and film I work on I have and always will put my all in as I want to make not just myself proud but my Grandfather proud too.
